Urethane Cande Carrier is a premium 2K urethane candy carrier formulated specifically for mixing with kandy concentrates. Designed as a high-performance alternative to House of Kolor UKK01, this carrier features a crystal-clear finish and ultra-smooth flow-out—ideal for true custom kandy paint jobs.
With a 45.7% solids content and a reliable 2:1 mix ratio (includes activator), this system lays down beautifully, levels instantly, and provides a deep, vibrant candy effect with excellent durability and UV protection. Whether you’re painting a show car, motorcycle, or custom project, this urethane candy clear delivers consistent results with every coat.

NOTE: Always ensure product is at room temperature (72°F) before mixing for optimal performance.
Application
Apply base coat color per manufacturer’s instructions. Spray two wet coats of Urethane Cande Carrier, allowing 5 minutes flash time between coats. After flashing to the string test, topcoat with 2–3 coats of clear for protection and depth. We recommend Wetness 2145 High Solids Clear for the best UV resistance and gloss retention.
Note: Always monitor flash times based on shop conditions. Do not rush the recoat process to avoid solvent pop issues.
Notes
- UCC may be reduced up to 5% with urethane reducer
- Reducing will lower dry film thickness
- Standard urethane reducers may increase VOCs
- Always apply a minimum of 2 mils DFT of topcoat for UV protection
Surface Preparation
- Apply basecoat per manufacturer’s instructions
- Allow 15 minutes dry time per coat before applying UCC
- In cooler temps (below 70°F), allow additional dry time
- Use a clean tack cloth before spraying UCC to remove dust and debris
