What You’ll Do

• Design eye-catching, professional product labels for our candy, pearl, flake, and specialty paint lines — ensuring they meet industry standards and pop on shop shelves
• Manage relationships with external print shops: submit artwork, approve proofs, coordinate production timelines, and ensure high-quality delivery
• Develop and execute merchandising & marketing strategies targeted at auto body collision shops, custom paint shops, and restoration specialists
• Create promotional materials, sell sheets, display kits, and point-of-sale items that help shops showcase and sell our products
• Build and maintain strong relationships with shop owners, painters, and distributors to secure prime shelf space and product placement
• Analyze market trends in custom automotive finishes and competitor offerings to keep our merchandising fresh and competitive
• Support sales efforts with product knowledge, demo coordination, and visual merchandising guidance for trade shows and shop visits
• Track merchandising performance and provide feedback to improve packaging, labeling, and promotional effectiveness

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in merchandising, product labeling, graphic design, or marketing — ideally in automotive, coatings, paint, or related industries
• Strong graphic design skills (proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar is required)
• Experience working with print vendors and managing label/production workflows
• Knowledge of the automotive paint & refinishing industry (candy paints, pearls, flakes, custom work) is a big plus
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills — you’ll be talking directly with shop owners and painters
• Highly organized with great attention to detail (labels must be accurate and compliant!)
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
• Comfortable with occasional travel for trade shows, shop visits, or photo shoots
• Positive, proactive attitude and passion for custom car culture

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Experience creating point-of-sale displays or merchandising kits for retail/wholesale environments
• Familiarity with automotive paint regulations and labeling requirements
• Portfolio showcasing label designs or automotive-related marketing materials
