Surface Prep Guidelines
- Let basecoat dry at least 15 minutes before applying clear.
- Extend flash time if under 70°F.
- Use a clean tack cloth before clearing.
Recoat Instructions
- If over 24 hours, scuff with 1000-grit sandpaper.
- For sand-through areas, apply heat before recoating.

I really like this clear. It sprays nicely in my LVLP gun. The paint was very hard within a day.
You folks have told me the other clears are better….If so, they must be awesome. I sprayed just 2 coats over my test panel, just enough to get the feel of it. It leveled out just fine with a little bit of texture (could be from my technique, gun setup or the panel prep…not sure). This will easily sand out and buff although I haven’t tried it yet.

Clear seems like its only good for small projects. Seems like the clear was too thin. Only issue I had with the paint aspect was the clear coat.
