Application

Mixing

  • For spray gun: Mix 1 part Sir Alec Red Pearl Coat with 1 part Urethane Reducer.
  • For airbrush: Mix 1 part Sir Alec Red Pearl Coat with 3 parts Reducer.

Spraying

  • Apply over a properly prepped and sealed basecoat.
  • Spray 2–4 even coats, allowing 5–10 minutes flash time between coats.
  • Allow 15–20 minutes dry time at 70°F before applying Wetness 2145 High Solids Clear Coat for a durable, high-gloss finish.

What’s it look like over silver?
Pearls are semi-opaque. Meaning they aren't able to fully be seen through. This causes a problem with your eyes focusing, they cannot see the metallic silver & the pearl on top. Pearls should always be sprayed over a solid base (without metallic/pearl).
