Description

Black Diamond Pearl Base Coat – Deep, Rich, and Built to Outshine

Black Diamond is our signature black pearl basecoat—a rich, jet black with a refined pearl shimmer that catches light without distorting color. Unlike many other “black pearl” options on the market, this formula stays true to black with no brown, gray, or blue undertones. What you get is a clean, deep black that shimmers with dimension in sunlight while maintaining solid coverage and consistency.

Whether you’re building a custom black pearl paint job or laying the foundation for candy, flake, or pearl coats, Black Diamond gives you an edge. With better coverage than House of Kolor’s PBC100 Black Sparkle Pearl, this basecoat gets the job done with fewer coats, saving time and material while delivering a flawless result.

Its 1:1 mix ratio is perfect for full-body paint jobs, while airbrush artists can thin it 1:2 or 1:3 to create drop shadows, shading, and depth in detailed work.

Application

Air Pressure

  • 30 psi – Gravity Feed
  • 40–50 psi – Siphon Feed

FAQs

FAQs

Can I get express or overnight shipping on paint?

Unfortunately, no—express or overnight shipping isn’t available for paint. Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations classify paint as hazardous materials (haz-mat) under Hazard Class 3 (flammable liquids). These classifications mandate that such products can only be shipped via ground transportation—not by air ICC Compliance Center Inc - USArila.org.

The rationale is simple: shipping flammable liquids such as paint via air carries elevated safety and regulatory risks—including fire hazards and complex emergency response needs. Ground transport minimizes these risks and remains the only compliant mode under DOT regulations FMCSArila.org.

For more details, feel free to check out this source: Understanding Why Paint is Classified as Hazardous Material and Restricted to Ground Shipping
